Sometimes I Drink Cider

While I always like to support local, there is something ultimately epic about drinking local!

On a recent ladies trip to Queenstown we stopped in at The Cider House in Cromwell and came across the wee shop that they have there, with a gorgeous range of local wines, spirits and ciders. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely a craft beer lady but I love a good cider on a hot summer day. The hardest part was picking only a couple to bring home. I opted for the Wild Cider, which was brewed on site and the Pride & Joy Vintage Cider, aptly name Doozie. Both were delicious and fairly dry but I ended up preferring the Wild Cider.

The selection of alcohol in the shop (Cider Thyme) was fantastic, a whole wall of deliciousness. I only came away with two ciders but my companions both purchased Broken Heart Gin. It's definitely worth a look in if you're in the area!
